Gayle Kirschenbaum is a filmmaker, TV producer, writer, photographer, speaker, traveler, and forgiveness coach.

She also helps women who have endured abuse from their mothers reclaim their lives, discover their power, find inner peace, and cultivate self-love through her transformative forgiveness method.

It all started when she made a funny short film called MY NOSE about her mother’s quest to get her to have a nose job. The response to that short film transformed her life.

When she saw how many people were still in pain from childhood trauma, often due to their mother, she asked her mother if she was willing to go on camera to work on our relationship.

Her mother agreed. Gayle knew I had a gold mine because her mother had and has no censor she had a huge archive of footage and photos.

That film is called LOOK AT US NOW, MOTHER! It played theatrically, then on Netflix, and now on Amazon and many other platforms.

This led her to become a speaker, and a forgiveness coach and she just authored her first book – my memoir.

Childhood of Gayle Kirschenbaum

Gayle Kirschenbaum was born on December 28, 1954, in New York, United States. She had a very tough childhood she had to suffer many things as a girl child.

Her mother did not want a girl but Gayle was born and after her, she had two younger brothers and an elder brother.

Her mother always screamed at her without any reason if her brothers could beat her at that time she had no fault but her mother screamed only at her.

When she was young, she used to wish something horrible would happen to her, like getting hit by a car. She imagined ending up in the hospital.

She thought then maybe people would come and visit her and give her love. Maybe even her mother would be able to feel love for her. She was so desperate for love and attention.

While her family members adored others around her, she constantly faced criticism, bullying, and humiliation.

She did not know what she did wrong. She grew up feeling like Cinderella and spent years filled with anger and resentment and unable to have a lasting and loving relationship.

Until she hit a wall and she knew she would live a very unhappy and lonely life if she did not get rid of her anger. She knew she would have to forgive her mother.

She went on a journey and finally figured out the secret and discovered how to transform difficult relationships and today her mother is her closest friend.
